Want to add OEM-Style Bed Lighting to your F-150? The Starkey Bed Lighting Kit adds a premium OEM-Style cargo box lighting system to your F-150 in minutes! This system gives you the quality that is normally only found from the factory, while providing an easy to install system.
Features and Benefits:
- Lamps illuminate when you open the door or unlock the doors with your Key Fob, and fade-to-off automatically when the truck is started or doors are locked. The lights can also be controlled with the over-cab light button located on the headlight switch inside the passenger compartment.
- LED lamps come ready for a plug and play installation. Our LED lamps are IP67 rated making them completely waterproof against high pressure water spray. Their UV treated Polycarbonate lens make them rugged and dependable. LED’s are rated for 50,000 hours.
- Included is a power extension harness that allows you to seamlessly connect your LED lights to the factory wiring harness by tapping into one factory wire with the included 3M T-Tap.

Easy installation
First this is a super-easy to install kit. If you follow the instructions/ video anyone can do this - even with minimal DIY skills. The lights are brighter than I expected and light up the bed well even with a black spray-in bed-liner. Plenty enough to see what's in the bed at night, even with a bed-cover on. Following the video you can expect about 30-40 minutes to put this together with another 20 or so minutes to figure out how you want to route the wiring on the undercarriage & where to tie off. I was impressed with just how easy this went together. I love the fact that this kit allows you to turn your bed-lights on with just the key fob and that they auto-shutoff after 30 seconds along with your system lights. I have a rolling bed cover and without these lights it's difficult to tell what all you have in your truck bed, especially after dark. I love this product and definitely recommend to anyone considering adding bed lighting. This is by far the easiest kit to install any the price is excellent.

The lights are a great upgrade to my 2022 F-150. Installation went off without a hitch (minus 1 issue that got handled by customer service). I wasn't too crazy about splicing into oem wires just because I was worried about something going wrong but it went great! I also wasn't sure about running wires through those vents in the back of the cab based on mixed opinions on the interwebs. Although I had done that on my previous truck without issues. Anyways, all went well and the lights are really bright and helpful at night when loading the bed. I did have an issue with one of the lights. I tried to remove it and the lense came loose. Honestly, I'd say they aren't the greatest quality build because of that. However, I messaged the team at Starkey products and they immediately sent out a replacement without question. I ended up fixing the one I had with some glue around the lense but I fully expect it to fail if it gets water in it so I'm happy I have a backup. If you are on the fence about these lights like I was, jump off and order them already!
