Want to add OEM-Style Bed Lighting to your F-150? The Starkey Bed Lighting Kit adds a premium OEM-style cargo box lighting system to your 2015+ F-150 in minutes! This system gives you the quality that is normally only found in the factory while providing an easy-to-install system. Features and Benefits:

  • LED lamps come ready for a plug-and-play installation. Our LED lamps are IP67 rated making them completely waterproof against high-pressure water spray. Their UV-treated Polycarbonate lens makes them rugged and dependable. Lamps illuminate when you open the door or unlock the doors with your Key Fob, and fade to off automatically when the truck is started or doors are locked.
  • Included is a Plug-N-Play adapter that allows you to seamlessly connect your LED lights to the factory wiring harness. All trucks equipped with the Trailer Assist Lamp, as well as some trucks with a factory-installed tow package are completely Plug and Play. Please see below for instructions on how to determine if your truck is pre-wired!*
  • LEDs are a White 6000k color temperature. White perfectly matches the factory trailer assist lamp.
  • LED lamps, wiring, and a complete instruction manual are all included. This kit was specifically engineered to fit the 2015+ F-150!
  • Unlike the OEM Ford Kit, no trips to the dealership for BCM re-programming are necessary!

    *Your truck must be pre-wired for the Y-Adapter to provide power to your Bed Lighting.

    To determine if your truck is pre-wired, check the C431 inline connector shown in our instruction manual and YouTube installation video. On at least one of the plugs, the following wires should be present:
    2015-2017 = Pin #6 (Black with Yellow Stripe) and Pin #7 (Purple) – Please note, there is a Brown wire with a Purple stripe that looks similar.
    2018-2020 = Pin #6 (Black with Yellow Stripe) and Pin #7 (White with Green Stripe) – Please note, there are TWO White with Green wires on one side. You must have BOTH.

    If they are not, you will also need Starkey #4572 Power Extension Wiring

    **In rare instances, some 2015 & 2020 trucks may have a black connector in place of the normal connector shown. This product will work with minor modifications – see instruction manual for details.

        Bed lighting Kit 2017 XLT

        This product works as advertised in the Video easy installation less than 5 min. I am 77 years young the T plugged right end as advertised the LED lamp are super bright I probably spent more time zip tying the wiring back in place probably 20 min. If your truck has the trailer tow package, with the light in the tailgate and the steering knob for the trailer your truck is prewired. Very simple process I spoke with the sales rep on the phone a very knowledgeable individual, a great help and explained the whole process. A great product for under $250.00 that Ford wants.

        Awesome, easy install...

        Jason, with customer support, was super helpful in helping me determine if I needed the extra power extension wiring, which I did. Received product quickly and watched the video once and had a super easy install and it works great!! I would definitely recommend this lighting kit if you want some lighting for the bed of your truck. THANKS JASON!!

        Perfect, nice and bright

        These worked perfectly. I didn't read the description perfectly but I needed to run the cable to the fuse box for power so had to order it separately. The instructions were perfect, including the video. One small thing I did differently was remove the jack behind the seat and pull up the covering from the bottom instead of the top, so I could run the wiring through the bottom instead of the top of the air vent. That way it's flat against the floor the whole way before tucking it under the molding. One other piece of advice is to include a few extra long heavy zip ties to tie the extension around the frame. It kind of dangles from the air vent to under the bed all the way back to the axel because there's nothing to zip it to using the short ties provided. I'm going to buy a few longer heavier zip ties so I can tie it to the actual frame.
